Does chocolate taste better in an orange cup?

Have you had a cup of chocolate today? When you do it next time, make sure it's in an orange. Two researchers from the Polytechnic Universities of Valencia and Oxford have found that the color of the container in which food or beverages are served influences the perception of taste.

In a study published in the Journal of Sensory Studies, in which 57 people participated, chocolate was served in cups of different colors: white, cream, red and orange. orange with a white interior. The result is that in the orange and cream-colored cup, the chocolate tastes better. This study is interesting to understand how the brain also integrates information about the cup, not only about the food itself.

So now you know, if you buy new cups, make them orange!
