Valencia oranges picked the day you order

Valencia oranges that taste like an actual orange. Sweet, with more juice than you were expecting and a scent that stays on your fingers until mid-morning. The explanation is not very scientific: we don't pick them until you order.

Our crew picks first thing in the morning. If the orchard is still damp, they wait for the fruit to dry and everything runs a little late that day. No wax, no post-harvest chemicals, and not an hour in cold storage. They reach you in 3 to 5 working days, anywhere in Europe. We've been doing this since 1917, so we're fairly confident we've got the hang of it.

Good for juice and just as good eaten in segments. The calendar picks the variety, not us: Navel in December, Navelate in late January, Navel Lane Late in February and into mid-March, Valencia Late and Midknight in April and until mid-May. The rest of the year we don't sell oranges because the tree hasn't got any, and that point is not up for negotiation. The odd one will arrive with a sun mark on the skin. It isn't pretty and it makes no difference.

The family has grown oranges since 1917, between Ribarroja del Turia, Moncada and Burriana. Our great-grandfather guarded them like treasure, because back then a family could live off a small piece of land. Selling to distributors no longer stretches to that. So we sell them to you.
