The Menton Lemon Festival
Since 1929, the "Fête du Citron" (Lemon Festival ) has been held every year in Menton (France). It is a unique event worldwide where huge sculptures and monuments made of oranges are exhibited. oranges and lemons.
The idea came from a hotelier who organized an exhibition of citrus fruits and flowers. This event was so successful that it became a custom and in 1934 the "Fête du Citron" was born.
