Candied potatoes with orange, honey and cinnamon aroma

Candied potatoes with orange, honey and cinnamon flavouring
This recipe can be prepared in the oven or, if you don't have so much time, also in the microwave.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of baby potatoes
- olive oil
- 100 grs of honey
- 2 oranges (the skin) from citrusricus.com
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- a pinch of salt
Preparation
- Wash the baby potatoes and peel them.
- Put them in a baking dish and cover them with olive oil.
- Add the honey, the peel oranges and the two cinnamon sticks.
- Add a little salt.
Bake them in the oven at 100º for two hours (depending on the size of the potatoes). When they are soft they are ready.
Microwave version
The preparation is the same, only that the potatoes are pricked a little bit with a fork. Then, we introduce them in a microwave-safe container. In 7 - 8 minutes, at maximum power, they are ready. It is necessary to watch if they are very small, with less minutes they will already be soft.
These potatoes are perfect to accompany any meat or fish dish, try them, you will love them!
The leftover flavored oil can be saved and used e.g. for dressing salads.
