FAQ

Shipping and Delivery

How long does it take for the oranges to arrive?

Normally 3 to 5 working days from the time you place your order. We go to the orchard the next day to pick and prepare the fruit for shipment. If it rains, there may be a slight delay. When your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking code from the carrier. You will always know where it is (although sometimes it takes them a while to update the information). If you have problems or after that time it hasn't arrived, contact us.

Can I arrange a delivery time?

It is not possible to agree on an exact time, but you can contact the local branch of the carrier and see if they can accommodate your schedule.

How do I know where my order is?

You will receive an email with the tracking information. On the GLS page with the shipment number you will be able to know where your order is at any moment.

I am outside the EU, can there be problems with delivery?

There may be delays due to customs. It is easier if a family member or friend within the EC receives the order for you. Anyway, you can contact us and we will see your specific case.

Products and Season

When is the best time to buy mandarins?

From November to March is when they are at their freshest and at their best. As the dates vary depending on the weather that year, when we see that they are not in the conditions we consider, we no longer offer them.

When is the best time to buy oranges?

Oranges are at their peak between December and April-May. As in almost all crops, the dates are approximate because they depend on the weather conditions of each season. In addition, we have several kinds of oranges in our orchards, which allows us to enjoy exquisite oranges for a longer period of time.

What types of citrus do you offer?

We have many types of oranges, from Navelinas, Navel, Navel Late and Valencia Late (which allows us to extend the season). Also several types of mandarins and lemons. This allows us to have product whenever it is in season in Spain.

Are Citrusricus oranges organic?

We were born with the goal of being sustainable and helping as much as possible to the recovery of the rural environment. Our oranges are grown without chemicals or post-harvest pesticides. In addition, in the orchard with the youngest trees we are growing according to Demeter standards with the goal of obtaining certification in the near future.

Returns and Order Problems

Why does the amount of my order change when I get to the payment page?

You may be using a VPN and the site has not correctly detected the country you are in. When you indicate the shipping address, the price will be adjusted to that address.

I have received some spoiled fruit, what should I do?

If any fruit arrives damaged by transport or temperature changes, take a picture and contact us. We will find a quick solution that best suits your needs, either by sending new fruit or refunding your money.

What I received is not what I expected, what do I do?

If the fruit doesn't meet your expectations, let's talk. We're sure to find a quick solution to your satisfaction.

Do you accept returns?

We do not accept returns of fresh products, but we do accept returns of packaged products. To return packaged products, you must print a return label and assume the cost of shipping, except for large orders.

I have received the broken box and parts are missing, what do I do?

First note the problem on the delivery note that you sign to the carrier as delivering the box, take a picture of the broken box and contact us with as much information as possible.

Storage and Preservation

I have a lot of fruit, how do I store it?

Store oranges, tangerines and lemons in a cool, dry place, away from direct light. If possible, use a wooden or plastic box with a grid. Check if any piece of fruit is damaged and separate it from the rest.

General Information about Citrusricus

Where do Citrusricus oranges come from?

From our orchards in the Valencian Community, grown with sustainable methods.

How do they differ from supermarket oranges?

The big difference is in the taste, but of course, you will have to try them. Trust what other customers say about us. Ours do not go through cold storage and are not harvested ahead of time. They are picked at their optimum ripeness and shipped directly to you. Please note that they are not picked until you order them from us. They go directly from the tree to your house.

What other products do you offer?

In addition to oranges, we offer mandarins, lemons and other citrus fruits, all with the same freshness and quality. As well as fruits and vegetables from some neighboring orchards. We also have manufactured products such as honey, jams, dressings, etc. that are made by small producers like us who love quality while maintaining the naturalness of the products.

Other Topics

How many pieces are 1 kg of fruit?

Approximately 8-9 lemons, 8 tangerines, 4 oranges or 8-10 kiwis, depending on the size of the fruit.

Why do some fruits have a different appearance?

Not all fruits are perfect on the outside, but that doesn't affect their taste. We value fruit for what's inside, not how it looks. Many times, perfect and shiny fruits stay that way because they are chemically treated. We prefer naturalness and, besides, we don't waste anything here!
