A Fuego Rice Variety

A Fuego rice dishes are made with natural and high quality ingredients, which makes them, in addition to an enjoyment for the palateThis makes it a nutritious food, as it corresponds to a dish of the Mediterranean diet.

Each variety of rice is the result of a careful selection of ingredients and elaboration, offering a ready-to-cook product that captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine.

For your enjoyment we have three types of gourmet rice dishes:

- Paella Valenciana: The classic Valencian rice with chicken, rabbit and the typical vegetables: "garrofó" (Lima bean) and "bajoqueta" (flat green bean).

- Arroz con Costillas: Meat rice with pork ribs and chicken and "habitas bay", mushrooms and red bell pepper.

- Arroz Negro: A rice with squid and cuttlefish, tender garlic and, of course, squid ink. And made with rock fish broth. One of the best fish rice dishes we have around here.

Our experience.

The instructions are clear and simple. In addition, there is a very good explanatory video.

However, sometimes it is difficult to follow everything the professionals say because in our kitchens at home we don't have so many cooking utensils, the fire has different power, etc.

So we have thought that we are going to tell you things that have happened to us and how we have solved them because, although we are Valencian, rice does not always come out the same.

The first thing is the power of the fire. Surely you always have the doubt if it is too high or too low. In this case we have applied the same trick as when we cook the rice from scratch: look at the level of broth and if the rice is hard or not.

If you see that you are running out of broth soon, lower the heat. It is easier to solve the excess of broth at the end of the cooking than if you run out of broth too soon.

But if, on the contrary, you see that the rice is cooked enough but there is still too much broth, increase the power so that the broth is consumed.

The resting time is the moment to finish. If the rice grain is hard and you like it softer, cover it with aluminum foil for the 5 minutes that it has to rest. It will finish cooking without the need of fire. If you like it at that point, leave it uncovered.

¿Por qué elegir estos arroces?

Si un día no sabes qué preparar, estos arroces son la solución perfecta.

Las instrucciones son claras y sencillas. Además, hay un vídeo explicativo muy bueno.

De todas formas, a veces es complicado seguir todo lo que dicen los profesionales porque en las cocinas de casa no tenemos tantos utensilios de cocina, el fuego tiene diferente potencia, etc.

Así que hemos pensado que te vamos a contar cosas que nos han pasado a nosotros y como las hemos solucionado porque, aunque seamos valencianos, el arroz no siempre sale igual. 

Lo primero es la potencia del fuego. Seguro que siempre tienes la duda de si es demasiado alto o demasiado bajo. En este caso nosotros hemos aplicado el mismo truco que cuando cocinamos el arroz desde cero: mirar como va el nivel de caldo y si el arroz está duro o no. 

Si ves que te vas quedando sin caldo pronto, baja la potencia del fuego. Es más fácil solucionar el exceso de caldo al final de la cocción que si te quedas sin caldo demasiado pronto. 

Pero si, por el contrario, ves que está bastante cocido el arroz pero queda demasiado caldo, sube la potencia para que se consuma el caldo.

El tiempo de reposo es el momento de rematar. Si el grano de arroz te ha quedado durito y te gusta más blando, tápalo con papel de aluminio los 5 minutos que tiene que estar reposando. Se acabará de cocer sin necesidad de fuego. Si te gusta en ese punto, déjalo descubierto.

En nuestra familia valenciana, casi todos los domingos nos reunimos alrededor de una paella. Pero seamos sinceros, hacerla desde cero lleva tiempo.

Cuando probamos estos arroces, nos parecieron la solución ideal para esos días en los que queremos disfrutar sin pasarnos dos horas en la cocina. Ahora, muchos domingos preparamos el arroz A Fuego de Quique Dacosta y seguimos disfrutando del ritual de la paella sin complicaciones.

As we pick the fruit directly from the field, if it has rained it will take a little longer so that everything arrives perfect.

Returns on non-fresh products are accepted up to 30 days after shipment.

The order can be cancelled the same day it is placed before 20:00.
If the order is placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday it can be cancelled until 20:00 on Sunday.

First of all, we apologize for the inconvenience. Send us a photo and we will see what is the best solution for you (we will send you another one, refund your money, etc.).
