  • 1/2 cup olive oil (if you don't like the taste you can also use sunflower or canola oil)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons of water
  • 1/4 cup of fresh orange juice*.
  • zest of two oranges*.

*Use our oranges which do not undergo any chemical treatment and are characterized by a unique and authentic flavor.

  1. Heat the oven to 175 degrees and prepare an English pudding mold by moistening it with vegetable spray or buttering it.
  2. Pour the flour in a bowl and then mix it with the sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix the oil, water, orange juice and zest.
  4. Pour the liquids over the dry mixture and mix well until well blended. It is not necessary to beat.
  5. Pour everything into the mold and bake in the oven for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out dry.

It is a moist pudding, it should not be overcooked.
