Torrijas with orange juice


  • white bread from the day before or torrijas bread
  • 3 glasses of milk (more or less)
  • 1 orange from
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons orange blossom honey from
  • a little cinnamon

  • Cut the bread into slices.
  • Wash the orange and grate the peel (without albedo, the white part that is bitter).
  • Heat the milk and add the orange zest to get the orange aroma.

  • Fry in abundant oil until lightly browned.
  • Squeeze the orange juice and mix it with the honey.
  • Prepare the torrijas on a plate and add the orange and honey syrup.
  • Add a little cinnamon and orange zest.
  • Store in the refrigerator before serving.
