Naranjas a la barbacoa

Barbecued oranges

We like recipes that are simple and quick but at the same time healthy and tasty. Today we recommend a perfect dessert to end a lunch or dinner with a sweet touch: oranges barbecued oranges.

Ingredients

Preparation

  • The preparation is very simple: Wash the oranges well and cut them in half (with the peel).
  • Place aluminum foil on the barbecue and put the oranges on the fire for about 5 minutes. You can also roast them in the oven.
  • Then roast them a couple of minutes upside down, directly with the pulp on the barbecue.
  • Before serving spread the roasted orange halves with honey.

Another option is to sprinkle a little brown sugar on top of the orange halves and place them on a tray with a little butter. Roast the oranges in the oven to caramelize them.

You can also cut the oranges into segments (with peel) and roast them with a little olive oil. Add a basil leaf to serve them. Another original idea is to prepare the orange segments on a skewer and then grill them.

You can serve the oranges with ice cream. In this article you can find a very good recipe to do it.

Barbecued oranges are also perfect in a salad or to accompany a meat dish.

Enjoy this simple but original dessert!
