Hake with tomato and orange sauce
Ingredients (for 2 persons)
- 4 frozen or fresh hake fillets
- half an onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- salt
- 2 oranges from citrusricus.com
- pepper
- 200 ml tomato sauce
- olive oil
- spaghetti or tagliatelle to accompany (optional)
Preparation
- Grate the zest of the oranges and squeeze the juice. Set aside.
- Cut the garlic in slices and the onion in bronoise (small squares). Season the fish with salt and pepper.
- Sauté the garlic in a frying pan with a little oil and when it begins to brown, add the onion.
- While the onion is frying, cook the fish fillets in the same frying pan. Set aside and reserve the fish fillets on a plate (if you want, you can grill the fish or cook it in a separate pan).
- Pour the orange juice and let it cook until it reduces a little. Add the tomato sauce, mix and leave on the heat for a few minutes. Add salt. Grind (optional).
- Add the fish to the sauce so that it cooks a little with the sauce.
- If we choose to accompany it with pasta, we will cook it as we are used to.
- To serve, we can put a little sauce on the plate, the pasta and on top the fish with more sauce. If you want, you can decorate the dish with orange zest.
This delicious orange-flavored dish is now ready.
