When is the ideal time to eat them?
To check if an avocado is ripe, carefully remove the stem from the top. If you find a bright green color, it means that it is still unripe. If the stem is brown or black, it is probably overripe.
The perfect sign is a yellowish corner with a hint of green.
In our case, we cannot send them to you when they are just ripe because they would spoil in transport. We send them a little green, but in a couple of days they will be great.
If you need to speed up the ripening process, there is a homemade trick. Place the avocados in a paper bag along with a ripe apple or banana. These fruits release ethylene gas, which helps speed up the ripening of avocados.
