Hake in orange sauce

Hake in orange sauce


  • half an onion
  • 8 slices of hake
  • 1 grated tomato
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • juice of an orange from
  • 1 teaspoon of flour to thicken the sauce
  • 1/2 glass of fish stock
  • olive oil
  • salt


  • Chop the onion and garlic and then fry in a little olive oil.
  • When they are golden brown, add the grated tomato and let it fry a little more.
  • Then add the flour and let it cook for a while.
  • Add the orange juice, the fish stock and a little salt.
  • Then add the hake slices and cover the pan.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes on each side.
