What dishes do you recommend me?
Aside from the typical salad, which always plays well with everything, I think this orange and vodka dressing goes very well with fish or salad that has some seafood, such as crab or eel.
What is the origin of vodka?
Vodka is a distilled beverage whose origin is Polish, although its authorship is attributed to Russia. It is generally produced through the fermentation of grains and other starch-rich plants, such as rye, wheat, or potato.
The word vodka comes from the Russian word "voda", which means "water". The word used only vodka starts from the seventeenth century. In the countries of this "vodka" is used to designate any high alcohol drink.
Russians never got a reknown spirit, unlike the Scots with whiskey or French with a compound Armagnac but they got only tasteless alcohol and distilled wáter, which might appear a Little thing but it is not.
The intention apparently was to achieve a high concentration of alcohol so the product could not easily be frozen, because that alcohol freezes at lower water temperatures, but it is in Russia, where the production of vodka has obtained for the first time its scientific base through research of Russian famous chemist Dmitri Mendeleev, who established that the best alcoholic strength for vodka is 40 degrees, and as a demonstration of their scientific model, Mendeleev created the formula of vodka Moskovskaya, the which remains in the history of vodkas, as a model vodka. The Stolichnaya and Moskovskaya formulas are part of the National Treasury of Russia. It is the base for many cocktails have totally neutral flavor.
