Ingredients for the cake

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tangerines whole from citrusricus.com

Preparation

The preparation of this cake is very simple, but the result is spectacular.

  • Clean the mandarins well with water to remove possible impurities and then put all the ingredients in a bowl.

  • Mash the mixture until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  • Pour the mixture into a mold.
  • Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 150º C for about 40 minutes.
  • To check if it is done you can use a needle or a wooden stick.
  • The only thing missing is the glaze: Mix well the mandarin juice with powdered sugar. It is best to add the juice little by little to control the quantity.
